"දේවධර්ම ශාස්ත්‍ර වේදීන්ටත් එය විස්තර කල නොහැකියි: මානවයා දෙවිඳුන් ගේ ප්‍රේමයේ සිහිනයයි" ප්‍රැන්සිස් සසුන් පියාණන් මේ බව කියා සිටියේ සාන්ත මාර්තා නිවහනේ පවතී උදාසන දිව්‍ය පුජා යාගයේ දී ය.
පාප් වහන්සේ ගේ මෙම දේශනාවට පාදක වී තිබුනේ "මම අලුත් අහසක් සහ අලුත් පොළොවක් මවමි" යයි ඉසයියාස් දිවස්ප්‍රසාදීතුමාගේ පොතේ එන වාක්‍යයයි. "මෙම පාඨය මගින් කියවෙන්නේ දෙවියන් වහන්සේ ගේ දෙවැනි මැවිල්ල පලමුවැන්නටත් වඩා විශ්මය ජනකය යන්නයි.එසේ වන්නේ පාපය නිසා විනාශ කරන ලද මැවිල්ල උන්වහන්සේ ජේසුස් ක්‍රිස්තුන් වහන්සේ තුළ "යළි සාදන" නිසාය."
"දෙවියන් වහන්සේ සිය ආනන්දය ප්‍රකාශ කරන්නේ මෙම පරිපුර්ණ නවෝදාවේදීය . දෙවිඳුන් කෙතරම් උද්යෝගයකින් සිටින්නේද යන්න අපට පෙනෙනවා. "මම මගේ ජනතාව පිලිබඳව සතුටු වෙමි" යයි උන්වහන්සේ කියනවා. තමන් කුමක් කරන්නෙම් දැයි දෙවියන් වහන්සේ සිතනවා. උන්වහන්සේ සිතනවා, තමන් ස්වකීය ජනතාව සමග කෙතරම් සතුටින් සිටිනවා ද කියා. මෙය හරියට සමිඳුන් ගේ සිහිනයක් වගෙයි. දෙවි සමිඳාණන් සිහින මවනවා.දෙවි සමිදුන්ටත් සිහින තිබෙනවා. ඒ අප පිලිබඳ සිහිනයි. අප එක්ව සිටින විට ....? යයි උන්වහන්සේ සිතනවා. එය සමාන කළ හැක්කේ පෙම්වතෙකු පිලිබඳ සිහින මවන පෙම්වතියකට හෝ පෙම්වතියක පිලිබඳ සිහින මවන පෙම්වතකුටයි. ඔවුනට සිතෙනවා, අප හමු වූ විට.... අප විවාහ වූ විට....ආදී වශයෙන්. ඉතින් මේ සර්ව පරාක්‍රම දෙවිඳුන් ගේ සිහිනයයි" යයි පාප් වහන්සේ විස්තර කළහ.
"ජේසු සමිඳාණන් අප එකිනෙකා ගැන මේ අන්දමට සිතනව.අප ගැන සිතනවා. අපට ප්‍රේම කරනව. අප ගැන සිහින දකිනවා.ඒ නිසා අපව 'යලි මැවීමට' උන්වහන්සේට අවශ්‍යයි. උන්වහන්සේ අපේ හදවත් 'යලි මවනවා'."
"සමිඳුන් අප ගැන සිහින මවන බව අප මොහොතකටවත් සිතා තිබෙනවා ද?උන්වහන්සේ මා ගැන සිතනවා. උන්වහන්සේට මා ගැන සැලසුමක් තිබෙනවා. උන්වහන්සේ අපට කියන්නේ 'මා ඔබ තෝරාගත්තේ ඔබේ ශක්තිමත් බව නිසා නොවේ. ඔබේ දුර්වලකම් සලකලාත් නොවේ. ඔබ ඔබ හැටියට මා පිලිගන්නවා' කියායි" යනුවෙන් ප්‍රැන්සිස් පාප් වහන්සේ සිය භාවනාව කරමින් වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කලහ .
"ඉතින් අප කල යුත්තේ කුමක් ද? විශ්වාස කිරීමයි. සමිඳුන්ට මගේ ජීවිතය වෙනස් කල හැකි බව විශ්වාස කිරීමයි.උන්වහන්සේ බලවන්ත බව විශ්වාස කිරීමයි. සුබ අස්නේ එන ශතාධිපතියා සේ අප උන්වහන්සේ විශ්වාස කල යුතුයි. විශ්වාසය යනුවෙන් අදහස් කරන්නේ දෙවිඳුන් ගේ ප්‍රේමයට ඉඩ දීමයි. උන්වහන්සේ ගේ බලයට ඉඩ දීමයි. මේ බලය නම් උන්වහන්සේ ගේ ප්‍රේමයේ බලයි. මා සමග ප්‍රේමයෙන් බැදී. සිටින්නකු ගේ බලයයි" යයි පාප් වහන්සේ සඳහන් කළහ.
Not even theologians can explain it: humans are the
Lord’s dream of love. Pope Francis said this at this morning’s mass in St.
Martha’s House, the first since he announced the Jubilee of mercy. God’s love
for humans is so immense and wonderful that all we can do is cry from joy.
The Pope’s homily was based on the passage
in the Book of Isaiah in which God says that he will “create new heavens and a
new earth: Francis emphasised that God’s second creation is even more “wonderful”
than the first because when the Lord “remakes the world which has been
destroyed by sin,” he “remakes” it in Jesus Christ.
It is in this complete renewal that God
expresses his joy: “We see that the Lord is filled with enthusiasm: he speaks
of joy and says this: “I will be glad in my people”. The Lord thinks about what
he will do, He thinks that He, he Himself will experience joy along with his
people. It is as if it were a dream of the Lord: the Lord dreams. He has his
dreams. His dreams about us. ‘Ah, how nice it will be when we will all be
together when we will find ourselves there or when this or that person…
that person will walk with me… But I will be glad in that moment!’ To give you
an example, it’s like when a girl who has a boyfriend or a boy who has a
girlfriend (thinks): ‘When we are together, when we get married…’. This is
God’s ‘dream’.”
The Lord, the Pope went on to say, “thinks
about each and every one of us” and “he thinks a lot, he loves us, he ‘dreams’
about us. He dreams about the joy that he will feel with us. This is why the
Lord wants to ‘re-create’ us, to make our heart new, to ‘re-create’ our heart
and allow joy to triumph.”
“Have you ever thought about it?” Francis
asked. “The Lord dreams of me! He thinks about me! I am in the mind and heart
of the Lord! The Lord has the ability to change my life!” And he makes a lot of
plans: “We will build houses, plant vineyards, eat together”… the kind of
dreams only someone who is in love has… And here the Lord shows us he is in love
with his people. And when he says to his people: “I didn’t choose you because
you are the strongest, the greatest or the most powerful. I chose you because
you are the smallest. The most miserable of all, you might say. But I chose you
just as you are.” And that is love.”
